AAV receives $25,000 in grant support from Harrison’s Bird Foods

Association of Avian Veterinarians(AAV) has received a donation of USD 25,000 in grant support from Harrison’s Bird Foods, and this grant will help AAV in supporting research, advancing avian health and clinical efforts by keeping the welfare of birds at the centre.

Harrison’s Bird Foods is a market leader in non-GMO bird nutrition and is certified organic.

Jennifer Graham is the President of the AAV, and she informed that this funding will help the company in further expansion of its research for this year. AAV is one of the most diverse professional organizations with Global outreach that is working for the advancement and promotion of Avian health. It has more than 1700 members that including but not limited to veterinary students, veterinary technicians, and veterinarians. Many members of the AAV have distinguished themselves as pioneer in the Avian and wild bird health.

The company was founded in the year of 1980, and in the year of 1983, AAV received its 501 C(3) status.
