Dr Matthew Graham-Brown has received £4 million of funding

Dr Matthew Graham-Brown who is an Honorary Consultant Nephrologist and is doing research into chronic kidney disease, has secured the £4 million in funding from the University of Leicester and the Stoneygate Trust.

The research done by Dr Matthew Graham-Brown will be accelerated with this funding and will help him to take it to the next level, i.e. from research findings into clinical care. The clinical experience and its data will help him to cure patients who are suffering from chronic kidney disease.

Around 7.2 million people are suffering from Chronic kidney disease in the UK itself, and so Dr. Matthew is working to provide quality care to everyone, irrespective of any background including clinical care.

Dr Graham-Brown is currently working at the University Hospitals of Leicester as an Academic Clinical Lecturer and as an Honorary Consultant Nephrologist. Apart from the above funding, he has around £400,000 in external grants like NIGHTLIFE-CMR, Kidney Research UK project grant, etc.
