Abstractive Health, a New York based healthcare startup working to revolutionize clinical workflows through AI automation, has received funding of $250,000 from HEALWELL AI. The company is working in the automation of patient summaries using its state-of-the-art proprietary generative AI.

It has also received funding from other and existing investors like Rho Capital Partners as one of the main investor, Cornell University via Cornell Technology, and Pear VC among existing investors.

HEALWELL AI is a Toronto-based healthcare technology company that focuses on data science and AI for preventative care and its mission is to save lives by early detection and identification of diseases and thus improving the overall healthcare scenario. It a physician-led company with experienced management and a clear roadmap.

Through this funding, HEALWELL AI will disrupt the clinical documentation market of Canada by bringing the state-of-the-art generative AI as per its CEO Dr. Alexander Dobranowski.

Vince Hartman is the CEO of Abstractive Health, and the company has developed a HIPAA-compliant proprietary generative AI technology which will provide accurate and medically relevant summaries of the patients to the physicians using AI. This solution is their in-house product and thus they have better control and can do the upgradation with ease as compared to other competitors who generally rely on other’s LLM
