Osigu, which is in the healthcare revenue cycle and claim management system, has raised around $25 Million from IDC Ventures in the Series B round, along with the participation from Visa.

Osigu is planning to use this funding to enhance and improve its payment systems to reduce the burden of real-time payment capacities of the healthcare and wellness providers.

Fernando Botrán is the CEO and founder of Osigu, and he has a deep understanding of financial systems. Previously, he has worked at Ernst & Young and did Business Valuations and also has founded Giftop which was in to gifting market in Latin America from the USA. He proudly announced on LinkedIn that this funding will help him to get closer to his vision of bridging the gap between the fintech and healthcare sectors.

Osigu is already working with Visa, and this renewed partnership with Visa will take the company to the next level, and they are together trying to bring innovation to the sector where much of it is required. They are planning to digitize and automate the healthcare payments, and they are fighting with the main issue of the healthcare and wellness sector by empowering the users to provide quality care to the patients without any worry related to payment-related issues.
