California-based medical robotics startup Mendaera, has secured $73 million series B funding round to finalize robotic technology development, fuel AI and connectivity capabilities, and deploy the robotic system for real-world trials in clinical setups.
Co-founded in 2020 by Joshua DeFonzo and Jason Wilson, the company aims to integrate medical robotics into interventional radiology. The med tech startup is working to commercialize its AI-driven handheld interventional platform to improve patient care.
