Pioneering biotech company 4Tissue has received the funding of €2M in a seed funding round, including non-dilutive grants and equity investments. Three female investors are Annemie Van de Casteele, Griet Nuytinck, and Virginie Saverys.

4Tissue is one of the top biotech companies working in the regenerative medicine field, and by using advanced biointeractive hydrogels, it is transitioning from cells to tissue engineering. The company was founded by Prof. Phillip Blondeel and Prof. Dr. Sandra Van Vlierberghe. The company is working to apply for tissue regeneration and reconstruction in many medical fields.

Annemie Van de Casteele has a background in pharmacy and healthcare policy. Griet Nuytinck has founded Anacura which is a leading pharmaceutical and medical laboratory and Virginie Saverys is a successful entrepreneur.

CEO of 4Tissue Dr. Benoit Moreaux has said that this funding will help the company accelerate the company’s growth and advance its mission to revolutionize breast tissue replacement. By using this investment, the company is looking to provide natural and long-lasting alternative solutions to traditional breast surgeries.
